Description
DESCRIPTION. PRODUCT NO. 295-G is a penetrating sealer with premium adhesive properties. It provides a firm surface before application of roof or wall coatings.
USES. PRODUCT NO. 295-G is specially recommended for priming over asphalt based surfaces as well as concrete, metal, and aged roof coatings or any badly oxidized areas of roof or exterior walls. This product is designed for laying polyester membrane for a complete roofing system.
SURFACE PREPARATION. Repair all cracks and structural defects which allow the entrance of moisture or promote moisture damage. Surface must be clean and dry. It should also be free from dirt, mildew, oil, grease, flaking, peeling and scaling. If there is efflorescence, then use scraping or pressure washing to remove it. Scrub the surface with TSP (All Purpose Heavy Duty Cleaner) and then rinse it with water.
APPLICATION. Stir thoroughly and apply uniformly by roller, brush or airless spray at a rate of one gallon per 100 square feet. When using this product to lay polyester membrane the product will be applied at a rate of five gallons per 150 to 200 square feet to fully saturate the polyester membrane. However, do not apply this product if rain or frost has been forecasted within 24 hours.
DRYING TIME. Most of the time, this product should dry in 2 to 12 hours. However, drying time depends on temperature and relative humidity.
KEEP PRODUCT FROM FREEZING.
CLEAN-UP. Clean brushes, tools and other equipment with soapy water right away after use. Dried film may also require paint remover.
